Chamber Welcomes City of WH’s New Economic Development Director

Jerome Du ValAt our last networking luncheon, Mayor Sellers introduced their new economic development director, Jerome Du Val. The chamber is excited to work with him towards our mission of fostering growth of businesses in the Warrensville Heights area.

Jerome Du Val has a proven track record in economic development from the public and private sectors, and specializes in creative solutions for new and expanding businesses. From 2003-2007, Jerome served as Special Assistant and Director of Outreach under the firth mayor of Washington, DC. (Anthony A. Williams). During his tenure, he was directly involved in the District’s resurgence and economic revitalization across the eight wards of the city.  The District created 100,000 new jobs and generated $1billion in new tax revenue to support city services.  He forged the most business-friendly economy and competitive technology presence on the east coast. He also helped improved the performance of government services and worked to ensure the city was investing in infrastructure and human services.
