Cuyahoga County COVID – 19 Business Survey

The Cuyahoga County Department of Development is reaching out to businesses to learn the key challenges and short and near term needs from the COVID-19 situation.

Businesses are asked to please take a few moments to answer the survey. Responses and input are crucial to Cuyahoga County and its partners working to quickly provide support to small businesses.

Here is some additional information for business owners and employees from the Cuyahoga County Department of Development:

1. The usual one-week waiting period for unemployment benefits has been waived. Eligible employees who are out of work due to COVID-19 should file immediately.

2. Ohio offers a “shared work” system that may let you keep key employees on a reduced work schedule while they also draw partial unemployment benefits. Information is available here.

3. The U.S. Small Business Administration is now taking disaster loan applications. Loans can be approved and disbursed quickly, with payments over 30 years at a low rate. Click here for more information.
