Good morning Ohio BWC clients of Peter Young PPS TPA Services,

I hope you, your family, friends and employees are safe and well during these days of many COVID-19 uncertainties!

I am sorry for the lack of personalization in this email, and I apologize in advance if you receive additional overlapping emails from others at PPS…we are scrambling to send out all types of Ohio BWC news to as many clients as we can in a timely manner. We promise to learn how to get better at this quickly.

BWC has begun to respond to Ohio’s COVID-19 situation with many changes to policies and procedures that impact the way you manage claims, your BWC policy and programs, and pay your premiums…see attached BWC FAQ document.

This includes BWC’s announcement that “March, April and May premium installment payments may be deferred until June 1, 2020, at which time the matter will be reconsidered”.

We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.

PPS has been monitoring many other healthcare and employee absence management issues too, so we’ll try to be a trusted information resource to you so you can concentrate on managing your organizations.

Thank you again for being a valued PPS TPA Services client.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me or your PPS Claims Examiner with any questions or concerns during these trying times.

Best regards,
Peter Young
Senior Consultant
