Advocacy Committee Updates

Advocacy Committee Updates

The past two years have been active of the Tri City Advocacy committee, with this year showing many accomplishments to serve the business and communities of the Tri City area better. The Committee met with Mayor Nash of Highland Hills twice during the course of the year, as they did the same with Mayor Smith of North Randall. Mayor Sellers met with the committee every other month and has already suggested and committed to meet the same for 2016. Many streets around the area had or are having work done to them, with projects that will probably last for the next two years. Street improvement helps maintain property values for your businesses with much more pleasant driving and eye appeal. Major electrical problems were tackled with the joint effort of Mayor Sellers and the Illuminating Company and the Advocacy committee in improving and bring to and end constant electrical power failures on Renaissance Industrial Parkway.

A constant exchange of ideas and suggestions are made to improve, protect and help with future expansion for both the cities and the chamber of commerce helping to securing a better work community for businesses. I can assure you for your business in 2016 and after, this will be the most dynamic location to be in. There are multiple of projects on the drawing board some already under way and some to develop in the near future, that will make this business area stronger, more valuable and exciting as a place to be located.
Being a strong member of your Chamber of Commerce helps insure a better environment for your business. Do your part and help this area become the number one business area for the future of Cuyahoga County.
