How Apogee Leadership Group is Moving Forward

As a business that focuses on coaching individuals and organizations in leadership development, professional skill-building, and personal growth, Apogee Leadership Group was challenged by COVID-19. When asked how it affected his business, Founder and CEO Mike Nwankwo said, “When COVID-19 hit hard, many of our clients either canceled or rescheduled our services toward the end of the year”. Having to make adjustments to their business strategy for the remainder of 2020, Mike told us, “We had to practice what we preach- adjust on the fly.”

While their business halted in the beginning, Apogee Leadership Group has pivoted to offering virtual and online training. They have also continued their partnership with Corporate College and Baldwin Wallace University to continue teaching classes online. “Our mission has not changed,” Mike said. “Apogee exists to instill and bring out the best in others… whether that is in person or virtual.” Looking ahead and moving forward, Mike says, “the second half of the year and beyond look promising” for Apogee Leadership Group. To finish the interview, Mike told us, “Our faith is strong, and our outlook is positive.”
