Nerone & Sons, Inc. is a specialty contractor with expertise in underground infrastructure, site development, tunnel and marine construction. We have served both public and private customers throughout Northeast Ohio since 1955, providing effective solutions for their most complex and challenging projects.
Amerigo Nerone was born to Italian immigrant parents in 1929. Their view that hard work was the only road to success was passed down to Amerigo, and by age 14 he began his working career helping his father load cinders onto a truck after school.
Amerigo founded Nerone & Sons in 1955 with a truck and a shovel. His goal was to build a company for his children and his business plan was a simple one: anything could be accomplished by hard work, integrity, and fairness.
Amerigo earned the reputation of a person that would take on challenging projects, and his “Whatever it takes!” approach to tackling difficult projects has become Nerone & Sons company motto.
Nerone & Sons has 3 generations of family in the business today. The company has grown but the business plan remains the same: Hard work, integrity, and fairness.
