[Survey] Are You Ready to Host Live Events?

[Survey] Are You Ready to Host Live Events?

Is it time to start hosting live events?

In a study by Enigma Research, 94% of respondents claimed they “very much” or “somewhat” missed attending live events and these results were consistent across all event types, geographic regions, and age groups. As a business community and Chamber of Commerce, we all know the value of networking, but during these times it’s easy to experience the virtual meeting “burnout”.

We asked member Scott Klukas, General Manager of Cleveland Marriott East, about their experience with reopening live events and the extra precautions they are implementing to keep visitors safe. He told us, “While meetings may look different, we have already successfully hosted several events each week since July 7 with no linkage tied to virus spread stemming from our hotel hosted events. This is due, in part, to a focus on enhanced cleaning and sanitizing, mask requirements for associates and guests when not seated and eating, associate daily health screenings, room and event set-ups with distancing as the top priority, contactless service and meal delivery, and additional associate training.”

So we wanted to ask you, our members, are you ready to attend live events? Please take a few moments to fill out the survey below.
